Last years defending Section V Class B champs against the defending Class A champs at Patec Park saw the Geneva Panthers knock off the Hornell Red Raiders 33-14 to take the title that Hornell held last year as Section Five Class B football championships. Brian Fowler scored four touchdowns for Geneva, finishing with 106 yards on 23 carries while his counterpart, David Zapata carried the ball 32 times for 157 yards. Jeremiah Allen also scored a touchdown for Geneva while D.J. Swartz and John Darmarth scored for Hornell. Earning honors after the game were...John Warnter (Geneva) and John Damrath (Hornell) for the Roger Bunce Sportsmanship Awards: Sam Austin (Hornell) for Outstand offensive lineman.
